For those of us in retirement, my father-in-law Frank Horn offers some tips on how to make the most of it. For him, that means living in Arizona where it's warm enough, then making a point of testing his hammock on a daily basis. It's a technique he learned during WWII during his service on a Liberty Ship. Step 1: String a hammock between a couple of trees where there is just enough warmth, yet shade.
Plant rump in hammock |
Swing legs in |
Smile for the camera |
Think about getting up |
Swing legs out and push back. |
Exit hammock in standing position |
Better yet, go get company |
