When Grandmothers Need Translation

Eric says to Vake and Gil:

"Autobots! The decepticons have spilled Legos all over the floor! Time to roll to the rescue and put them away!"
The boys: "Yes, sir, Optimus!"

Granny says "Please translate," and Eric says:

From the Transformers cartoon/books/action figures.

The Autobots are the good guy robots.  The Decepticons are the bad guy robots. Optimus Prime is the leader of the Autobots. 

I pretended to be Optimus to tell V&G (as Autobots) to clean up their rooms – and it actually worked!
