Eric's Tips for Travel at Klamath Falls

Eric, Alison and their boys are now settling into their new house and new neighborhood for Eric's new job at Klamath Falls, OR.  Vake has started preschool. And Eric finds himself flying in and out of the city from time to time, and offers these suggestions. (I copied them off of his Facebook page.)

Tips for the savvy traveler when flying out of Klamath Falls:
1. Arrive at least five minutes before your scheduled boarding time to allow sufficient time to clear security.
2. The red zone is free short-term parking. Please limit your stay to no more than 48 hours.
3. The green zone is free long-term parking. Please limit your stay to n more than 30 days.
4. Note that at peak travel times (4:45 - 5:00 a.m.) there may be as many as three other people in the security line.
5. Please have your ID ready in case Earl doesn't recognize you.
6. Locating your gate: Upon clearing security you are at the gate.
7. San Francisco boards first, then Portland. Boarding may take as long as ten minutes.
8. The plane to the left is going to San Francisco, the one straight ahead for Portland. The planes to the right are Air Force F-18s. Do not try to board these.

(Eric realizes now that the planes are F-15s of the 173 rd Wing. Only the Navy flies F-18s, as Jerry informs us.)
