The Basic Tree

By popular demand, namely a request by my son Eric Martin, I am printing a basic family tree. This much is widely known and pretty much acknowledged. Enuf said.

Elias Halmesaari Sampson (born 1880)  married Sofia Helmi Heidi Keskimaki Sampson (born 1880). According to Eli’s bio, their children were:

            Arnold  (born Sept. 19, 1903), Eli (born February 1905), Eugene George (born 31 December 1906), Sylvia (born August 1909), Johan Kalevas (John Oliver, aka “Johnnie” born December 1910 died 2002), Runo Veikko (Reynold Vake born 19 April  1914 died January 1997). However, Johnnie and Vake were very close in age, so Johnnie’s birthdate according to Eli may be erroneous.[Update:  I found Johnnie's birth announcement. It was December 21, 2011]

            Arnold, whom Eli also called “Arno” when he labeled photographs, died of tuberculosis or its complications, without marrying or having children. 

            Eli married and divorced Doris Curley.  Their daughter was Shirley Mae (born 1929 died 2009).

Shirley married Jack Adams October 4, 1946, and their daughters are Marcia Lynn (born April 2, 1949)  and  Susan Kay (born 1952).

Marcia  is married to Norman Landry, and their sons are Mitchell Keanekona (born 1978) and Bryce Kealoha (born may 27, 1981).

Mitchell married Miranda May Beyers (aka Seranno) and     their son is Kyler Ke’aka Landry

Susan married and divorced Buckhart. Her son is Cole Adams Buckhart, born April 11, 1984.

Eugene married Kathleen Siegrist. Their sons are David Eugene (born 1940), Arnold Eli, and Samuel Roy (born 1946).

David married and divorced Kay Butler; married and divorced Sandra Sue, now Hutton, with whom he had daughter Paula Sue; married and divorced Bryna Watson, with whom he had Jeffrey Sampson; and married Clara Louise Gele’ (aka “Charlie”) who is still putting up with him.

Paula Sue Sampson married and divorced Stuart Morris and bore Daniel Stuart Morris, born Nov. 18, 1988

Arnold married and divorced Janie Sommers, with whom he had Eric Franklin Sampson (born August 14,1966)  and Kelly, then married Sharlene.

            Eric  married Nadia Kutul (born April 10,1968) and they bore       Sofia Kutul Sampson (born February 12, 2002).

  Kelly married and divorced Barnes, then married  Kurt Zimmerman  and bore Nielen June Zimmerman on August  4  , 2010.

Sam married and divorced Nonda Wilson. Their daughters are Kate Rene and Siiri Roseanne

Katie married Nathan Fadden and their sons are Riley Bruce (born  July 24,2008) and  Beckett Samuel born August 2, 2010.

Sylvia married Esmerald “Buck” Goodman, and their daughter was Audrey.

                        Audrey married and divorced Russell Worthly.

                                    Their son was Jon (born 1947 or 1948), raised as “Jennings.”

    Audrey married and divorced Gene Jennings. Their children were            Harold, Tom, Robert (“Robbie”), Sylvia, and Jacqueline (“Jackie”).

Audrey was married to Conklin when she died in an auto/ice accident in Sand Point, Idaho.

Johnnie married and was widowed by Evelynn Zwicker. Their children are Jon Logan ( born May 1940), Dean Reynold (born May 26, 1942), and Patricia Ann (born January 4, 1947; Patty was adopted). He then married and divorced Velma, and married and was widowed by Betty Pugh. 

          Jon married Barbara.

Dean married Patricia. Their sons are Gregory Reynold and Mark Webster.

Patty married and divorced Dale “Butch” Libby. Their children are  Dale, Jr. (“Rusty”), Jeffrey Duncan Libby and Becky A.Libby.  She married and divorced Jim Gibbs. Her domestic partner since 2003 is Dave Sutherland.

            Rusty married Wendy C. Green in My 1993. Their children are
            Nicol C. Libby born Nov. '95 and Brady Logan Libby b.June'03.

            Becky married Shane C. Guth July 2007; their son is Cody J. Guth,
            born April 2006. 
     

Vake married Mildred Goers (born May 27, 1922), and their children were Susan Rae (born 11 June 1947),  Sandra Lee (born 20 November 1949), Mark Edison (born June 11, 1954) and Tina Naomi (born September 20, 1955).

Susan married and divorced Robert Blaine Martin. Their sons are Eric Blaine Martin(born October 2,1967) and Brook Ian Martin (born February 17,1970). Susan then married Gerald Francis Horn (born 12 April 1948).

Eric Martin married Alison Gillespie Martin (born 1 October 1974), and their son is Reynold Vake Blaine Martin (born 10 February 2009).

Sandy married and divorced Dan Benson. She married Johnie Floyd Jones, and their children are Leslie Ann Jones (born 4 September 1986), Billy Vake Jones (born 16 October 1996) and Richard Mark Jones (born October 8,1998). Billy and Ricky are adopted out of Cambodia.

Mark Edison,married and divorced Susan Decker.Their children are Meghan Rae (born 29 April 1987) and Drew Alan (born January 6, 1990).

Tina married and divorced Tom Moe. Their children are Harper Morton Moe (born 3 October 1986), Kaia Lee Moe (born 25 March 1988), and Colbe Caitlin Moe (born 22 March 1991).
