Kaia Moe's new photo and other stuff

Here's a photo of Kaia Moe, RN,  (Eli and Sofia, Vake and Milly, Tina, Kaia) with Alexx Angeline and their dog hiking in Arizona. I borrowed the photo from Kaia's Facebook page just because I thought it was a pretty neat photo.  The hills are what Kaia called a "Sky island." Look how obviously tall she is!  I don't know how Tina got a daughter like that. I think Kaia's father Tom Moe is a mere 6' or so.  (Of course, Sandy has Leslie who is 5'8", Mark has Drew who is 6'5" and I have Eric who is 6'3", so there are likely some beanstalk genes in the family genome.)

On a totally different subject, my son Eric reports that his son Vake, now 4 years old, threw his arms and legs around his mother, Alison. "Vake! What a nice hug that was," she said. "Mom," he corrected her, "That was a giant squid attack!"
